If you have reservations about using harsh cleaning products in your home you may want to make homemade cleaning solutions.  You can make natural cleaning products for all kinds of different uses.  From dirty kitchens to carpet stains, we have the recipe for you.

All-Purpose Cleaner

All-purpose cleaner is one of the most common products used.  While you might clean  your bathrooms weekly, you most likely have to clean your kitchen once or more a day.

– 3 cups water
– citrus essential oil
– 1 cup rubbing alcohol
– 1 squirt all natural dish soap

Another good all-purpose cleaner recipe

– 1 cup white vinegar
– 4 TBSP baking soda
– About 20 drops of essential oils

Glass Cleaner

Most of your standard store bought glass cleaners contain ammonia, which many people have reactions to.  An all-natural glass cleaner is easy to make.

– 4 cups water
– 1 cup distilled vinegar
– 4 TBSP lemon juice

Bathroom Cleaner

When making a cleaner for your commode you want it to be both effective, but also safe.  Most store bought toilet cleaners contain bleach.  Some people love cleaning with bleach, but other people are very sensitive to it.

– ½ baking soda
– ½ tsp tea tree oil
– 1 cup distilled white vinegar

Degreaser

Cooked on grease is one of the hardest things to clean, it becomes sticky and hard to remove.  This degreaser recipe can used both in the kitchen and the garage!
– 2 cups water
– ½ tsp liquid castile soap
– 2 tsp lemon juice
– 1 tsp baking soda
